The medical history is written before you walk into the office.
e-anamneza collects the medical history through an adaptive dialogue, brings together the patient's fragmented documents and prepares a structured clinical summary for the physician — with the source and limits of every piece of information.
The platform exists as an MVP at app.e-anamneza.ro — a pilot version, not yet an operating medical service.
- Reason
- Lower back pain, onset 3 days ago
- Allergies
- Penicillin — source: 2019 record
- Active medication
- 2 long-term treatments, verified
- Limitations
- 2021 procedure not confirmed by documents
illustrative example — not real patient data
Medical data is scattered.
Practices, clinics, hospitals, laboratories, separate PDFs and paper records. At a first consultation or after changing doctors, the history is rebuilt from the patient's memory — with measurable consequences.
- direct cost
- Duplicate investigations and lab tests, paid for by the patient or by the public payer.
- clinical time
- The first 5–10 minutes of the consultation spent reconstructing the history, not on clinical reasoning.
- patient safety
- Drug interactions and contraindications missed because of an incomplete history.
- continuity
- A patient who changes doctors loses practically all the context built up until then.
Three layers, built one on top of the other.
Booking platforms solve access. Hospital systems solve data, but don't talk to each other. e-anamneza starts from the patient as the owner of the record and adds a clinical layer that no public platform is building.
The intelligent clinical layer
AI assistant for preliminary history-taking, red-flag detection and remote consultation — turns the accumulated data into time saved for the physician. The physician validates every result; the system does not diagnose.
The data layer
A longitudinal, patient-controlled record with granular sharing, temporary access and a complete access log. Every piece of information keeps its source and date.
The access layer
Verified physician profiles and online booking, synchronised with the national portal. It brings the user volume — data accumulates as a side effect of normal use.
From booking to record, in a single thread.
The same information flows through three moments of care, without being reconstructed every time.
- Adaptive clinical dialogue, at home
- Automatic import of documents and results
- Clinical summary with sources and limitations, ready for the physician
- The physician reviews the summary before the patient comes in
- Interaction check at prescription time
- Decisions and management remain entirely the physician's
- An explanation the patient can understand
- Treatment reminders and confirmation of continuation
- Follow-up at the interval set by the physician
The physician decides. Not the AI.
Documentation, not diagnosis
The assistant produces a structured medical history and flags situations that need urgent assessment. It does not communicate diagnoses and does not assess severity from images. Every output is traceable: input data, model version, physician's decision.
Compliance designed in from the start
Decision-support components are treated as potential medical device software (MDR) and as a high-risk AI system. Documentation structuring and clinical suggestions are separate modules, under different compliance regimes.
We build on top of public infrastructure, not alongside it.
Romania's new PIAS and the “e-SănătateaMea” portal bring mandatory national booking and give insured people access to their public data. e-anamneza doesn't compete with these services — it connects to them.
Public infrastructure
- National booking (PIAS)
- Access to reimbursed services
- E-prescription, insurance status
What e-anamneza adds
- The AI clinical assistant and the pre-consultation summary
- A patient-controlled record, beyond reimbursed data
- Remote consultation and follow-up between visits
For clinics and for patients.
For clinics
- Consultations that start from context, not from administrative questions
- Fewer unjustified repeat investigations
- Subscription per active physician, starting small
For patients
- A single record, no matter how many doctors contribute to it
- Full control: who had access, to what and when
- Real continuity when you change provider
Where we are now.
- stage
- Working MVP available at app.e-anamneza.ro; architecture, brand and interface completed
- TRL level
- TRL 3 — concept validated, preparing for a working prototype
- target market
- Romania — private practices and clinics, then hospitals and the public payer
- what we're looking for
- Clinical validation, mentoring on interoperability and regulation
